Now THAT'S a Tree!

I stopped at Cathedral Grove both way as I drove to Tofino and Ucluelet this past week. The forest was amazing, the trees were huge and it was a real treat to photograph these giant monsters, and the rather large slugs I found on the pathway. The thorny maple leaves look cool as well. I did not tempt fate and touch them...


In some of the photos of the big trees, I placed a Tim Horton's cup on the tree for perspective...look for it!

    it first appears in the photo after me hugging the tree, and in a few after that. Try clicking on the photo to get it full-size, and then look.
