My friend Jody and I drove to Skagway, Alaska yesterday to camp at the pacific ocean overnight. Beautiful weather, the mountains were gorgeous, and snowcapped, and the beer went down easy. Interesting signs along the way, and the Carcross Desert was as remembered - awesome. There was one cruise ship in port, so town was a little busy, but still scarce compared to the summer crowd. We went for a hike, did some shopping, drinking and eating, and just caught up. T'was a good night.
